**SAFE 06/10/16** SINCLAIR IS JUST A SCARED BABY WITH A MOUTH FOR CRYING AND A HEART FOR BREAKING! This 4 month old STRAY, came into the shelter crying and fearful! She’s been given a RESCUE ONLY rating, and will need a New Hope rescue to pull her to freedom. Contact a New Hope rescue, offer to FOSTER OR ADOPT and give this baby a start to her young life, that will last for the rest of her life!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Sinclair stress meows and looks around, wary of her surroundings. Reaction when spoken to softly: Sinclair lowers her body and hides in her litter box. Reaction to door cage opening: Sinclair remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Sinclair hisses and shifts away from contact. She looks around the kennel, attempts to flee and currently doesn’t allow and handling. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Sinclair is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
