SIMONE – A1064838
Safe - 2-18-2016 Brooklyn
**SAFE 02/18/16** TWO LONG HAIRED HOUSE PANTHERS NEED YOU TONIGHT! VICTIMS OF A HOARDING SITUATION – BOTH ARE TOTALLY HEALTHY AND FIXED BUT THE ACC IS JUST “GETTING RID” OF THEM NOW! KAYE and SIMONE are part of a large group of cats that came in from a hoarding situation. The good thing is KAYE is a spayed girl and SIMONE is a neutered boy. Both of these kitties are in need of loving homes where they will be showered with attention and love. The ACC is not going to give them a chance to be adopted because they are a bit skittish and got an EXPNOCHILD rating. IF YOU HAVE THE PATIENCE AND CARE TO GIVE THESE TWO SWEET CATS A CHANCE FOR A HAPPY ENDING, HURRY AND CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL THEM TO SAFETY!!!

02/14/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Simone was being monitored by the Enrichment Facilitator and reported that he was very fearful when he first arrived. He is tolerant of petting but is extremely uncomfortable. Reaction to assessor: Simone is curled up at the back of the kennel with his head lowered. Reaction when softly spoken to: Simone makes eye contact and hisses at the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Simone remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Simone hisses when touched and whips his head around when touched along his body. His ears bend flat and he slowly inches away. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Simone tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
