A volunteer writes: You don’t always have to go into the rough to pick up a diamond. We know that all of the solicitous cats get snapped up quickly when they come to the front of the cage and high five you. But guess what, there are some amazingly friendly cats (SIMBA) who are more comfortable hanging back a bit but are equally friendly and affectionate cats. Hey, are all the nice people in the world loud, boorish, obnoxious, attention getters – and would you want them to be?! There’s plenty of love and strength in being peaceful and calm too (SIMBA). You get it, I know you do. Now won’t you get SIMBA! He’s a perfectly pettable companion for any home.
