04/27/17 17:59 BASIC INFO Show A1110067 is an 8 year old dsh cat. He is being surrendered to the shelter because the owner can no longer afford to care for Show or Krauss. Show was a gift to the owner from family 8 years ago. Show does not have any health concerns. He has not been to a veterinarian. SOCIALIZATION Show is friendly with strangers. He has lived with 4 children, ages ranging from 4-12 years old. Show does not play with adults. He plays a little exhuberant with the children. He lived with another cat and they got along fine. Has not lived with a dog. Show has never scratched. BEHAVIOR Show does not have any behavior concerns. He allows you to pick him up, pet him and place in a carrier. He does not allow you to bathe him or trim his nails. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Show is friendly, affectionate and playful. He has a high activity level. When home, he follows you around. He does not have any toys but likes playing with bags. Show sleeps on a cat bed. He was fed 9 Lives dry food. He used a regular litter box with hartz clay litter. He uses the corner of a mattress to scratch on. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Show allowed handling, collaring and photos, did try to flee off of table when photographed.

Reaction when softly spoken to: Show looks at the assessor and rubs his cheeks against the cage door, but then would focus his attention on things happening in the room. Reaction to cage door opening: Show remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Show head-butts and rubs his head against the assessor. He begins to purr and remains in place for petting. Reaction to being picked up: Show remains calm and allows handling.
