SHIVA – A1062619
Safe - 1-17-2016 Staten Island
**SAFE 01/17/16**PERFECTLY HEALTHY SHIVA IS ONLY A KITTEN AND WAS DUMPED WITH HER LITTERMATE FOR MOVING!! SHIVA is only 10 months old and came in with her littermate COCOA – A1062620 who is not listed tonight. This sweet tortie girl was described by her ex-owner as playful, affectionate and loves to be held and have her coat brushed! Sounds like a dream cat! Sadly, poor SHIVA was scared to death after being abandoned in the shelter and when the assessor came along she cowered and hissed and spit – and of course was punished with the NEW HOPE ONLY rating. SHIVA is a house pet and is terrified because she misses her owner, her sibling and doesn’t know why she is there. Can you blame her? She will be just fine once you get her out of the shelter and into a safe, loving home. New Hope ratings are so unfair because they only measure the cat’s fear in the shelter and not their normal behavior in a home environment. GIVE SHIVA A DEATH ROW PARDON TONIGHT AND CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL HER TO SAFETY! DON’T FORGET HER SISTER COCOA WHO IS ALSO AT THE SHELTER BUT NOT LISTED TONIGHT. WE ARE SURE THEY WOULD LOVE TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN. EMAIL [email protected] FOR RESCUE INFO.
