Lying in litterbox with a tense body, gaze directed towards ground. She avoids eye contact when spoken to and tolerates petting along her head and body while backing away, arms stiff and tail curled around body. Ears are flat. Nervous, needs more time to adjust.
Lying in back of kennel, body low and tail wrapped around feet. She squints her eyes as the kennel door opens and tolerates petting along her head and body while moving slowly towards her portal and retreating, tail tucked between legs. Nervous and unsure. I see her at the front of the kennel eating the treats I left for her as I make my way across the rest of the room.
