O: BARH. mm=pink, moist, CRT<2 s. Friendly, allows all handling.
ORAL: All adult teeth present, excellent dental condition.
EENT: Mod. mucopurulent nasal discharge, sneezing.
H/L: Lungs clear, no murmurs/arrhythmias.
ABD/UG: Intact male, abd palpation WNL.
MS: Amb x 4. Lean body condition BCS=4/9.
INTEG: Full, dirty haircoat. Wound over right cheek, granulation tissue present. No bleeding, minimal discharge.
A: Age est. 1 year. Wound. URI.
P: Swab taken for PCR testing.
Temporarily waived from neuter surgery due to URI.
House in iso.
Rx Doxycycline 50 mg/ml 0.8 ml PO q 24 hours x 10 days.
Clean wound q 24 hours with chlorhexidene x 7 days.
Excellent prognosis.
