Lying in cubby with a relaxed body. He raises his head and makes eye contact when spoken to. Allows petting along his head and body while leaning in and rolling over onto his side. Seems to be bothered a bit when ears are touched – turns head to watch hand and shakes head. Interesting little face. Doing well!

Behavior NotesOwner stated that Shadow does scratch on the furniture due to the fact he was never provided a scratching post. On the way to the ACC in the car he was quiet. He has never been bathed brushed nor had his nails trimmed so it is unknown how he will react. Shadow isn’t bothered if he is held put in a carrier or disturbed while he sleeps.

For a New Family to KnowOwner described Shadow as friendly affectionate and mellow. When at home he likes to be in his favorite spot. Which is the cat bed under the kitchen table. Shadow likes to play with stuffed mice and he has been kept indoors only. Shadow eats dry food and is used to a uncovered litter box with clumping litter.
Behavior Notes:During intake Shadow allowed the counselor to pet, pick him up, collar him and take his picture with no problems.
