PROFILE- OWNER SURRENDER
Shade is a 17 week. old male domestic short hair mix was brought in as owner surrender. The owner surrendered Shade because of Shade health. Shade has had a recent seizures and eye sight problems and was last seen by a vet on 1/11/16.
The owner states that around strangers Oliver is friendly and outgoing. Oliver has not been around children but around adults he is gentle and loves to be play. Frozen has lived with another small male kitten and can play a litter rough at times with him. He has never been around dogs so the owner has no idea how Oliver would react around them. Oliver has never bitten or scratched anyone.
Shade has never been bathed, had his nails trimmed, had his coat brushed, he likes to be picked up and allows being placed in a cat carrier.
For a new family to know:
The owner describes Shade as friendly with a medium activity level. Shade has never played with toys; he lives mostly indoors and sleeps anywhere in the house that he wants. In the home Shade will follow the owner around and prefers to stay in same room as the owner. Shade eats various brands of wet cat food and is fed two times a day. He is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Shade has never been given a scratching post so the owner does not know if he will use it or not.
Behavior during intake:
During intake Shade was very weak with loose body, he allowed us to scan (-) put on collar, photograph and placed in cat kennel.
