11/20/16 16:51 Field driver stated that animal was nervous and trying to hide. Animal had to be netted and put into a den for transport to our facility. Behavior during intake: Animal was nervous during intake. I was able to scan for a mc, without any issues. When I put my hand out, Seven Up became tense and went to the back of then den and was shaking.

Seven Up came to the shelter without an owner profile, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Seven Up was nervous but allowed all handling. Reaction to assessor: Seven Up is lying in his cubby. Reaction when softly spoken to: Seven Up looks at the assessor, body tense. Reaction to cage door opening: Seven Up hisses. Reaction to touch: Seven Up strikes at the assessor and hisses, does not allow handling. Placement Determination: New Hope Only Seven Up does not approach the assessor, avoids petting and does not tolerate handling. Seven Up is exhibiting behavior suited to rescue partners.
