Medical Behavior Evaluation GREEN
Medical Summary Scan : negative Sex: male Approx 2 S/O: Lethargic/dull, mucoid ocular discharge, mucoid nasal discharge and congestion. Discharge dried onto nasal planum. Mucosal ulcers on lower lip, where upper k9s contact. One large (~1cm) lingual ulcer. Gingivitis. Moderate dark crusty debris AU. Skin tenting. Alopecia/dermatitis on dorsal surface of both hind limbs extending above and below hocks. Hair was caked with some substance. Attempted to wash off. Hair epilates easily around lesions. Wood’s lamp negative. Began to eat well after buprenorphine was administered, good appetite. FeLV/FIV: negative A: Severe URI, mucosal and lingual ulcerations. Dehydration. Dermatitis. Underweight. P: Gave 100ml SQ LRS, 0.12ml buprenorphine 0.5mg/ml SQ. Gave first dose of doxycycline and erythromycin. Will continue buprenorphine and start doxycycline. May consider adding famcyclovir, wanted to limit oral medication due to comfort at this time PROGNOSIS: Fair-Good, may improve depending on response to treatment
