ENRICHMENT NOTES: 04/30/17 Lying down by the back with wide eyes, eyes darting back and forth from me to the room. He lip licks and blinks multiple times when spoken to. He seems interested in interacting, but is too nervous. Will poke his head forward to sniff my hand, but is hesitant of touch. He accepts gentle petting with a slow approach, ears tilting slightly sideways. Very wet food motivated! Gave a piece a chicken and he will come forward to eat. Will also allow me to pet him when eating. Great candidate for clicker training! ACTIVITY LEVEL: Cannot assess VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Timid, Sweet RECOMMENDATIONS: – Experienced cat parent – Scar tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
