S: sweet, eating well, 4 kittens (1105293, 1105294, 1105295, 1105296) observed nursing yesterday, sleeping w queen this morning, queen is very sweet and affectionate to people, but hissing and swatting lightly if kittens are disturbed
O:

slightly dehydrated (water dish empty)
EENT: mild dental tartar, no discharge at nares/OU/AU, no oral ulceration
Int: dry hemorrhage at ventral base of tail, mammary gg enlarged and expressing milk WNL
Lnn: WNL
CV: NMA, pulses not palpated, pink tacky mm
Resp: clear lungs, eupnic
Abd: distended, uncomfortable on abd palpation,
UG: fresh and dry hemorrhage at vulva
MS: 4x ambulatory, BCS 5/9
Neuro: BAR, no obvious neuro deficits
A:

vulvar hemorrhage (r/o post queening vs continued labor vs dystocia vs other)
abd distension (r/o post queening vs other)
P:
abd rads (no sedation) = no fetal skeletons noted, enlarged baldder, enlarged colon with large amount of feces, distended stomach with soft-tissue (food) material, SI displacement ventral and cranial

Pt allows minimal exam but is tense and growls after a few minutes.
Water dish was covered with an empty water bowl. Removed the empty bowl, pt drank water.
Mild tartar, pink MMs
BAR-H, walking around cage, grooming self and kittens. All four kittens are moving around and appear healthy.
No further exam completed to minimize stress.
Seek foster care or placement.

Behavior Beginner:
KNOWN HISTORY:
Sayyora was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Her finder found her on the street and was able to place her into a cardboard box. She had a relaxed and soft body during intake, allowing the counselors to conduct all handling.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:
Very sweet and affectionate to people, but hissing and swatting lightly if kittens are disturbed
EVALUATION:
Cage Condition: Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor: Sayyora was lying down and was calm, relaxed, and friendly.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Sayyora chirps and looks at the assessor with soft eyes.
Reaction to cage door opening: Sayyora remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Sayyora leans in for petting and starts kneading the air. She curls her body closer to her kittens and begins to purr loudly.
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
VOCAL: Quiet
CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Sweet
BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner
Sayyora interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.

Basic information:
Sayyora was brought in as a stray. The finder found her on the street; the finder placed Sayyora in a cardboard box and brought her to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake.
Intake Behavior:
During intake Sayyora was relaxed with soft body. Sayyora allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured, and placed in a cat kennel.
