***GONE 08/28/16*** SAW AND HERSHEY CAME IN AS A PART OF A GROUP OF CATS FROM A HOARDING SITUATION… IT’S NO WONDER WHY THEY ARE BOTH RATED EXPNOCHILD! 1 year old HERSHEY and 6 month old SAW have seen enough horror to last them for the rest of their lives…that was BEFORE THEY GOT TO THE ACC! NOW, it’s a whole other kind of horror! They are still in cramped cages, likely the ones that they already came from. But now, separate and on their own, they can only hope they all find a safe way out! HERSHEY has a possible ear infection, and SAW seems to be pretty healthy. The two need your help and even an offer to FOSTER will save their lives! Offer to FOSTER or ADOPT these two and give them a home with wide open spaces…not in cramped cages!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Saw looks tense, crouched position hiding in the cat den when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Saw remains in place, alert with eyes dilated. Reaction to touch: Saw accepts the stroke, but shows no interest and remains wary with his surroundings. Placement determination: Experience / no child Saw tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
