03/19/16 13:22 Basic Information: Sassy is an 11 year cat that likes to greet her owners at the door when they come home and likes to play with string. Socialization: Aroud strangers Sassy is friendly, outfgoing, and plays gently. Sassy has spent time with children of all ages; around them she is relaxed, affectionate, and plays gently. Sassy has never been around other cat s or dogs so it is unknown how she will react to them. Sassy has never bitten another person or animal. Behavior: Sassy is relaxed when he is riding in the car. Sassy enjoys having her nails trimmed, being brushed, being held/picked up, being placed in a carrier and being disturbed while she is sleeping. Sassy is afriad of being given a bath. For a New Family to Know: Sassy is described as: friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, shy and quiet with a medium activity level. When at home Sassy will follow around her owner and likes to play with string. Sassy has been kept indoors only and eats both wet and dry food in an open bowl. Sassy is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Intake Behavior: Sassy allowed staff to collar and scan for a microchip with no signs off aggression. Sassy enjoyed being pet and woud rub on staff.

Sassy’s previous owner reports she is friendly, outgoing, and plays gentle with strangers. She has spent time around children and is relaxed, affectionate, and gentle around them. She enjoys having her nails trimmed, being brushed, being held and picked up, and doesn’t mind being placed in a carrier or disturbed while sleeping. She was described as friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, shy, and quiet with a medium activity level. She usually follows the owner around at home and plays with strings. Reaction to Assessor: Sassy was lying down and was calm and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Sassy comes to the front and sniffs the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Sassy remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Sassy was a bit hesitant at first and prefers to stay by the back, but she head-butts lightly and arches her back when petted. She solicits attention by rubbing her cheeks against her litter box when petting stops. Reaction to being picked up: Sassy remains calm and purrs when held. Placement Determination: Average Sassy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
