SASH – A1075846
Safe - 7-8-2016 Manhattan
***SAFE 07/08/16*** SWEET SASH IS 11 WEEKS OLD AND WILL BE FACING THE EUTH TECH AT NOON IF SOMEONE DOESN’T OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT TONIGHT! Little SASH is not liking his stay at the ACC very much. He is said to be part of a larger group of kittens but only he and pal JULY are listed tonight. Typical ACC info in his blurb – they have him showing signs of a URI on May 31st but on June 2nd they rate him NORMAL or healthy. SASH is a cutie pie and he was a bit hissy at first but then allowed petting and handling. SASH needs someone to give him some TLC and loving and he will relax and be just fine. CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO FOSTER OR ADOPT SASH – AND WHILE YOUR AT IT DON’T FORGET ABOUT JULY!! KITTENS DO BETTER IN PAIRS! EMAIL [email protected] NOW FOR RESCUE INFO.

06/04/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Sash looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Sash remains sitting upright at the front of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Sash hisses at first, then began to stress meow during the touch. After, a few strokes he loosens up and slowly leans into the assessor’s hand, appreciating the pets. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup, but becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage. Placement determination: Experience Sash tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
