Oral Exam: mild dental tartar/gingivitis
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: spayed female, tattoo seen, scar palpated
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, areas of patchy alopecia at caudal dorsum with underlying dermatitis, alopecia, superficial dermatitis and wounds at caudal ventrum, inguinal region and caudal hind limbs
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment: Dermatitis/wounds – R/O overgrooming +/- FAD, other
Plan: Convenia 0.45ml SQ given, cleaned irritated areas with nolvasan. Continue to monitor while at BACC. If overgrooming continues, recommend temporary e-collar until underlying issue can be addressed
Prognosis: Good
