SAM was surrendered by his owner with 2 housemates. He is a 10 year old senior tabby who has a hematoma on his left ear from scratching due to ear mites. He needs a new home asap.

When strangers come over Sam will approach and sniff and rub. Flash is fearful when picked up and tries to escape. However he likes to be pet on the floor and friendly.

Sam has lived with a 10 year old in the home. Sam allows to be pet by the child. He approaches and rubs. Sam allows to be picked up briefly.
How is this cat around other cats?
Sam has lived with 2 other cats. His lived in harmony and sometimes play in the house. They lounged around the house together and share toys.

Lying down in his litter box. Perks up when I call his name. Curious, tail lowered, looks around kennel. Sniffs hand, perks up, tail rises. Leans in for rubs on cheeks. Brushes against the kennel furnishings. Very sweet!
