I am a neutered male white and gray domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 5 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 01/21/2016 from NY 11212, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

01/21/16 20:21 Salmon is a 2 year old white with gray domestic shorthair cat who arrived as a stray surrender. Upon intake Salmon was vocal but receptive for introduction and loose for all handling. Counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph. Salmon allowed petting and was easily replaced to the carrier.

Reaction to assessor: Salmon was resting at the front of the cage When spoken quietly: Salmon contiunes resting at the front of the cage Reaction to door cage opening: Salmon remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: Salmon solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Salmon tries to avoid being pick up Behavior Determination: Average Salmon was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendlly behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Salmon is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
