Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Sally came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Sally was relaxed and allowed all handling. Reaction to cage door opening: Sally remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Sally solicits petting and attention. Reaction to pick up: Sally meows but allows this type of handling. Placement Determination: Average Sally interacts with the assessor, solicits attention and tolerates all petting. Sally is exhibiting behavior suited to average cat parents, but may need additional adjustment time to a new home environment.
