A volunteer writes: Salem is an ebony beauty with white accents on her belly. At first she might appear to be hesitant, however once she warms up, she loves to be petted and touched. At this time, she’s not too into being handled, but that can change in the home of average cat parents (those with some experience with cats) who will know how to make Salem feel more at ease. Salem will immediately approach the front of her kitty condo when gently spoken to. Her name might remind one of a place where witches reside, but Salem is no witch – she’s just a cat looking for a forever home and for a family who will love her.
