Came to the front when given treats, sniffed hand and rubbed against the bars. Leaned and arched into pets, purred. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Sabro remains neutral, lying down on his cage bedding during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Sabro stands with head up, engages the front of the cage, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Sabro remains soft body allowing the pets and purrs during the interaction. Reaction to being picked up: He briefly allows the pickup then walks back into the cage. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Sabro interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
