05/24/16 09:46 Royal A1074894 is a young black DSH male feline who was trapped near the finder’s residence in the Bronx late last night. The client isn’t able/willing to keep him. During intake Royal managed to run out from the trap and was caught with a freeman net. When touched Royal attempts to get away and appears tense/ nervous. Due to these behaviors we weren’t able to collar him or take his pictures on our back drop but we did manage to scan (-) him.

05/27/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Royal looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Royal remains hiding in the cat den with head slightly out and alert with pupils dilated. Reaction to touch: Royal yowls in place and slowly accepts the assessor’s hand to pet his head, but remains wary with his surroundings and retreated back into the den. Placement determination: Experience / no child Royal tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
