**SAFE 08/19/16**SWEET LITTLE ROSIE NEEDS A HOME! ROSIE is an 8 week old black and white female kitten who is on tomorrow’s list for euthanasia at the shelter. This SWEET KITTEN doesn’t deserve to die! ROSIE was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. She has ringworm, which is a very treatable condition. Some topical medicine should take care of the problem and ROSIE will be as healthy as a horse—or a cute kitten! ROSIE is calm, friendly and allows all petting and handling. Reaction to assessor: Rosie does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Rosie comes to the front of cage meowing and looking for food Reaction to door cage opening: Rosie remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Rosie allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Rosie is tolerant of this type of handling but tense Behavior Determination: Average Rosie was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying calm behavior, came o the front of the cage in search for food, allows attention and tolerates all petting. Rosie is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
