05/25/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Romo does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Romo does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Romo remains motionless Reaction to touch: Romo was tense but torelated petting with a slow approach Try picking cat up: Romo is not tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Romo was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
