She is happy to have you pet her and I can see that she will be a wonderful gentle companion for someone. She wants to be your friend but doesn’t want to be rushed. She is worth the wait.

07/21/2017 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Bold, Independent ENRICHMENT NOTES: 7/20/17- In den, peeking through holes, eyes dilated. Became alert when door opened, started grumbling. Sniffed assess-a-hand, patted gently without claws. Stuck head out to eat nearby treats after door closed, still grumbling. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Romina looked neutral, lying down in her cat den during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Romina engages the front for treats, sat up in place, ears erect and forward alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Romina sniffed the assessor’s hand then slowly distance increased while she lip licked in place followed by grumbling. After, she accepted a brief touch on the head, but began to hiss and paw to stop the interaction. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Romina may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.
