06/22/17 19:51 Basic Info Rocky is a 7 year old DSh whose owners had allergies and could not keep him. He last visited a vet 2 years ago. Socialization Around strangers Rocky is outgoing and approaches strangers to rub on their leg. He is relaxed around children and lives with children but mostly ignores them. He lives in a home with another cat that he spends most of his time with and gets along really well. he has not ever interacted with other cats before. He has never been around dogs before. He has not bitten a person or animal. Behavior Rocky enjoys scratching on furniture and the carpet. He does not have litter box issues. He struggles when being bathed but is not bothered by having his nails trimmed, being brushed or put into a carrier. He struggles when being held and tries to get down. New Family Rocky has a low level of energy and likes to be in the same room as his owners. He is kept indoors solely. He sleeps on the bed or on anything soft lying around. He is fed dry food twice daily. He has a hooded litter box with clay and clumping litter. He also has a horizontal and vertical scratch post made of cardboard and carpet. Intake Behavior Rocky leans into petting and head butt counselor and allows all handling for collaring and scanning.
