***SAFE 12/18/17*** BEGINNER SWEETHEART RIVER WANTS TO BE YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND FOR THE HOLIDAYS!! WATCH HER VIDEO! A volunteer writes: ” River’s coat is as orange as the sunrise. This terrific tabby is decorated with a white bib and a white mouth. On her back legs she wears high white stockings and on her front paws tiny white socks. Her eyes are a pale shade of yellow. River was shy at first. I gently coaxed her out of her hiding place. A gentle coaxing was all she needed! River came out and greeted me with big head butts. Next thing I knew, this gorgeous girl was standing in my lap! She took her paws and started kneading my leg (a sign that they are feeling pleasure). What a sweetheart! I scratched the top of her head. Her purr was so strong, it made my hand vibrate. Could one ask for anything more? Pretty as a picture with a lot of love to give. River is waiting for you.”
RIVER is 10 years old and was dumped by her owner at the shelter for moving. RIVER was described by the shelter staff as calm, sweet and affectionate – what more could you ask for in a cat? RESERVE RIVER BY NOON!!
