07/24/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Richsimmons does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Richsimmons does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Richsimmions remains motionless Reaction to touch: Richsimmons allows petting with a slow approach Try picking cat up: Richsimmons is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Richsimmons was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying timid behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
