Safe - 5-28-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Staten Island Hope Please honor your pledges: http://www.statenislandhoperescue.org/
***SAFE 05/28/16*** What a sweet guy! RHYS (pronounced Reese) is a black 8 year old male cat who was found yesterday walking around in the Bronx. The finder couldn’t keep him so he’s at the shelter on tomorrow’s death row list. RHYS must be pretty smart because he wants out of the shelter. He kept trying to jump and run away! He knows the shelter is no place for a sweetheart like him. He’s very active and could use some fattening up. He’s a curious guy and interested in exploring his new surroundings. RHYS has one of those personalities that can easily fit into any situation. He’s not afraid and he’s made friends with everyone who comes to visit him. He likes being pet and is hoping for a new home ASAP! RHYS would make a wonderful pet for a new or experienced pet home. He’s got a great personality and is one of those cats that make an impression on your heart. Please foster or adopt RHYS today!!

05/21/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
05/21/16 09:16 Rhys (Pronounced “Reese”) A1074495 is an 8yr old male black DSH feline who was found on the street last night in the Bronx. They aren’t able/willing to keep him due to having a pet of their own. The finder stated Rhys was friendly and allowed them to place him into a carrier and bring him to our BXAC. During intake Rhys had a soft body & soft eyes. He is a very active kitty that is quite skinny & kept attempting to run/jump off of the back drop to go and explore his new surroundings. Rhys allowed to be scanned (-), collared & taken pictures of all the while purring and head butting. Rhys was then picked up/held (Rhys is such a love bug) and placed into a kennel with ease once inside Rhys began to meow perhaps for attention/affection or most likely food as he ate immediately.
