SAFE 3/1/17 SWEETEST GUY AROUND! WATCH HIS VIDEO! A volunteer writes: This is one big, gorgeous creamsicle. Friendly like there’s no tomorrow. He is so handsome and well-proportioned and poised, he could win the Westminster Dog Show (if it were open to cats).
**Meet Reptar** Reptar came in with bite wounds of an unknown origin. Due to these bite wounds, he will require a 6 month in-home quarantine. The quarantine will require monthly vet visits for the first 4 months, and then calls to the Department of Health for the remaining 2 months. Other pets may live in the home with Reptar but proof of rabies vaccination must be provided. If Reptar leaves the five boroughs, written and signed permission must be obtained from the DOH of the county where he will be staying.

Enrichment
2/12/17
Abscess and possible bite wounds on hind leg. Resting in litter box, initially soft body and eyes. Started hissing repeatedly when spoken to. Left alone for now.
2/13/17
Next to litter box today. Stiff and alert, eyes fully dilated. Pulled back slightly when door opened, then held immobile when pet. No hissing today! Really liked catnip toy.
2/14/17
Asleep in litter box on approach. Woke when door opened, took a few steps out, and lay down again. Eyes still dilated, not willing to walk very far. Allowed and slightly leaned into pets, ate offered treats. Sprayed feliway.
2/15/17
Dozing towards front, not in litter box today. Woke when door opened, continued to lay in place. Leaned into pets, closed eyes and purred. Ate offered treats within reach. Nice and calm today.
