I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 08/03/2017 from NY 11207, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K17-106534.

KNOWN HISTORY: Rambo was brought in as a stray, so there is no information on his behavior in his previous home. He was timid during intake, but allowed the counselor to handle him and he appeared to enjoy scratches on his forehead. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Observed Behavior – docile and wary. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is slightly re-arranged Reaction to assessor: Rambo was lying down, calm and relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Rambo looks at the assessor and blinks softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Rambo remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Rambo leans forward to sniff the assessor’s hand and head-butts. He nudges the hand with his head, rubs his cheeks against it, and begins to purr while being pet. Reaction to pick up: Rambo remains soft and continues to purr when held. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Calm, Curious, Sweet BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Rambo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
