Oral Exam: NP (pt scared on examination)
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Two descended testicles
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: externally normal
Assessment:
URI – suspect bacterial
Mild Otitis Externa
Prognosis: Good
Plan: Move to Iso
– cleaned ears and applied gentizol ointment in both eats
– gave 0.3 ml Vit B SQ
– gave 0.5 ml Cerenia SQ
– gave 100 ml SQ fluids
– Doxycycline 10mg/kg SID PO for 14 days
– Cont Cerenia SID for 3 days
– apply tresaderm in both ears for 7 days BID
