RACHEL – A1075694
Gone - 6-4-2016 Manhattan
*** GONE 06/04/16*** PRETTY LADY LOOKING FOR A FRESH START! RACHEL is a 6 year old grey and white gal, who was found as a stray. Her pictures are heart breaking. She has a wound on her lower jaw, which is noted as healing nicely. This pretty girl was living the rough life on the streets of NYC for goodness knows how long, but despite this has earned an EXPERIENCED RATING. It’s almost like she’s never experienced a loving touch before. A volunteer writes, ” Lovely Rachel came to us as a stray. While we don’t know her background, the streets were not kind to her. She came in with a serious injury, but is recovering nicely. Despite what we know, this girl loves attention and people. When I was petting her, not only did she purr as loudly as possible, she rolled on her back for tummy rubs! All I can say is that this is one delightful cat that would be a great fit for cat-savvy homes. Given time to settle down, she will be ready to entertain guests. Come on over to the Manhattan Center to see how amazing she is.” Rachel will need to be seen by a REAL vet, to make sure that her boo-boo is being properly treated. A FOSTER situation might be ideal for her, as a New Hope rescue can assist with her medical bills while you help her get used to the comfy life of living in a loving home. Of course, she can also be ADOPTED out right by someone who is willing to take the couple extra steps she needs for medical attention. Don’t let sweet Rachel die alone and not knowing love. Please consider offering her the chance she needs to LIVE! Surely once fixed up and given some time to get used to the good life she will shine! Contact the Help Desk at [email protected] if you would like to work with a New Hope partner or need assistance. Don’t wait, she only has hours to live without you!
