Raby – A0960643 6y N White DSH
Owner Surrender: 1/15/17
Raby is friendly and outgoing towards strangers unless approached too fast pace, then he’ll scurry away. He lives with four children, ages 12, 9, 7, and 4, and he was relaxed and affectionate with them. He plays gently with both adults and kids and has not spent any time around dogs or cats so it’s unknown how he would react them. Raby has only seen cats outside when his owner lets him out and will swat them to go away from his home and family. He has never bitten another animal or human.
During car rides, Raby meows a lot but seems calm. He enjoys baths and will struggle when getting his nails trimmed. He begins to bite the brush when his owner brushes him but loves being held. He struggles when being placed into the carrier but isn’t bothered once inside. He doesn’t mind being awoken from his slumber.
Raby’s owner describes him as friendly, affectionate, and playful. He has a high activity level and when he’s ready to play enjoys, string, balls, catnip toys, and laser pointers. His owner loves how much he enjoys tossing the ball around and chasing her kids when they have a piece of string. When his owner is home, Raby enjoys following them around and sitting on their lap. He’s been kept mostly indoors with some supervised outdoors time. He sleeps on his owner’s bed and is completely litter box trained. He will go potty in his uncovered litter box full of clumping litter. He scratches on his vertical scratching post that’s made of carpet. Raby’s owner feeds him both Meow Mix wet and dry food, about handful of dry, twice a day, with a little can, once a day. His favorite treats are turkey slices and warm milk.
