QUEST – A1071959
Safe - 5-6-2016 Manhattan Rescue: All Sentient Beings Please honor your pledges: http://animalloversnetwork.org/
**SAFE 05/06/16** LOST! That’s the conclusion most people will come to, once they read the shelter notes provided for QUEST, and with good reason! This stunning young lady is spayed, her health is noted as being good when she arrived at the shelter, her white coat was gleaming….those are the signs of a pet who got lost. Quest is surprised to find herself surrounded by rude strangers at the ACC, but still earned a respectable EXPNOCHILD rating for her behavior. Read those shelter notes carefully—this ca is NOT EVEN SICK, yet they have decided to kill her tomorrow. Why? Because they can. Please be sure to RUIN their plans for Quest by finding a foster/adopter to SAVE HER LIFE, TONIGHT!

04/30/16 09:54 Quest tried to hide when I first approached and backed away when I extended my hand. She allowed handling but had a croached, low body and flinched when pet initially. After a few minutes of going slow she allowed me to pet her, collar her and take her picture. She showed no signs of aggression.

05/03/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Quest looks tense, crouched position at the back when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Quest remains in place, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Quest slowly engages while she remains wary with her surroundings, but after a few strokes she then nips at the hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Quest tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
