PROFILE – OWNER SURRENDER
Basic Information:
Pudding is a 10 year old female domestic short hair that was bred at home. She has no known injuries or health problems and the last time she went to the vet was in 2009. The two things her previous owner liked most about her were; she’s talkative and cuddles.
Social life and personality:
Around children 2 years old Pudding is relaxed and affectionate but doesn’t play. Around other cats she is also relaxed and affectionate and gentle when she plays. She has not been around dogs in her previous home. She is litter box trained and was kept indoors only. She has a medium activity level and can be described as playful, confident, friendly, affectionate and talkative.
Behavior:
Pudding has never bitten a person or animal. When given a baths she is afraid but will tolerate it. She has never gotten her nails trimmed. She enjoys having her coat brushed and being picked up but is afraid to be placed in a carrier. She isn’t bothered if she is disturbed while sleeping.
For a New Family to Know:
Pudding used clumping cat litter in a hooded litter box. She likes to play with string, wand toys and chasing toys. She had a scratching post made of rough rope and carpet. When her previous owner was home she would tend to be in the same room and when she played he was gentle. She ate dry Purina cat chow and at night she slept in her owner’s bed.
Behavior during intake:
Pudding allowed me to pet him, collar him and pick him up without showing any signs of aggression.
