SAFE 7/29/17 Meet Lovely Calico Princess and Adorable Kitten Lupe! @BACC. These gorgeous kitties are being surrendered as deferred intakes, or diverted intakes if rescue is willing to work directly with owner.
Princess A1117053, 2 Years Old, Dilute Calico DSH, Female, Owner Surrender
Basic: Princess is a 2 year old female cat. Her owners have had her for about 2 years and are surrendering her because of no time. She has not had any illnesses or injuries and has not been to the vet.
Socialization: Around strangers Princess is friendly. She has spent time with children ages 1 through 10 and is relaxed and affectionate with them. She plays gently with adults and children. She has spent time with and lived with other cats of all ages, and also had a litter of her own 4 months ago. With other cats she is relaxed or affectionate. She plays with other cats exuberantly and gently. She has not been around dogs. She lives with a bird and will fixate on his cage. She does not have a bite history. She does not have any behavioral issues and meows during car rides. She does not have any litterbox issues. She struggles when getting a bath and a nail trim. She does not like being brushed and enjoys being picked up and held. She isnt bothered when placed in a carrier or when disturbed while resting.
For New Family: Princess is described as friendly, affectionate and playful. Her activity level is medium and her owner likes how playful and gentle she is. She will follow her owner around the house and has been kept mostly indoors. She sleeps wherever she wants and eats both wet and dry food. She is very litterbox trained and uses an uncovered litterbox with crystal litter. She scratches on the furniture or drapes and does not have a scratching post.
