06/19/17 11:33 Basic information: princess is a 2 year old Gray Tabby Spayed DSH. Her and Tigger A1115022 was given as a gift when they were kittens, her owner needs to surrender because her youngest child is suffering from allergies. Princess has no known health problems or injuries, she has no bite history. Socialization: Around strangers princess is friendly/ outgoing, she has lived with children ages 4months old and 4, 10, 14 years old. Princess is relaxed, affectionate and respectful with the children. When playing with adults or a child Princess is gentle. Princess has lived and with another cat Tiger, she was relaxed, respectful and affectionate with him. Princess has also spent time with a dog that was in the home, she was relaxed and respectful with the animal. Princess has no bite history. Behavior: Princess is housetrained; she scratches the furniture in the home. During car rides she is relaxed. Princess was only given a bath when she was a kitten; she has never had her nails trimmed. She enjoys having her coat brushed; princess isn’t bothered when picked up/held being placed in a carrier, disturbed while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Princess family describes her as Friendly, affectionate, and playful. She has a medium activity level; Princess likes to chase tiger around the house. When at home princess will follow you around, she is kept indoors only. Princess sleeps in the oldest daughters’ room; she eats dry food 2 times a day. Princess uses a hooded litter box and has a scratching post made out of cardboard or carpet. During Intake: Princess body was a little tense, but allowed handling. She went in and out of the carrier without any struggle.

KNOWN HISTORY: Lived Indoors Previously lived with: Adults and children (4month old, 4,10,14yrs old) Behavior toward strangers: Friendly and outgoing Behavior toward children: Relaxed, respectful and affectionate Behavior toward cats: Lived with another cat and was relaxed, respectful and affectionate Behavior toward dogs: Spent time with a dog and was relaxed and respectful Bite or Scratch history: None Litter box training: Yes Energy level/descriptors: Friendly, affectionate, and playful with a medium activity level Other notes: She enjoys having her coat brushed and doesn’t mind being held or placed in a carrier. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Hissing ENRICHMENT NOTES: 06/20/17 Lying in back of kennel with a low body. She backs away as my hand moves forward and tolerates petting along her head and body while lowering herself and trying to lean away from my hand, tail wrapped around her and eyes wide. Needs more time to adjust. 06/21/17 Lying in back of kennel with a low body, ears forward. She comes forward to sniff my hand and eats the treats I place down in front of her. She allows petting along her head and body while nudging my hand with her nose and leaning in with her shoulders and head. Ate all treats given and remained in the front of the kennel allowing petting for the duration of the session. Head-butting kennel door and approaching the front of the kennel as I make my way around the room later on. 06/22/17 She was crouched near the front of the kennel. Wide eyes with her tail wrapped around her body. Seems a little wary, gets a little startled with sudden movements. She hissed when I opened the door then slowly moved to the back of the kennel. Low body posture, inches forward and sniffs my hand. Warms up with touch, starts to perk up. Eventually leans in for attention and rolls around allowing petting along her body. Sweet girl, just needs you to go slow. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Shy, Sweet RECOMMENDATIONS: Experienced cat parent – Princess may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
