SAFE 6/25/17 A volunteer writes: Hi, human friends! My name is Princess, and I’m looking for a new castle to call my own. I am a friendly, sweet, social gal who loves getting loved on by human friends. I also love giving head butts back to show my love in return. If you are currently owning or renting a castle and are in need of some royalty to snuggle with, come on down and meet me!
NEW PHOTO! Princess is a bit hissy and unhappy someone brought her in the shelter. She needs a home asap.

ENRICHMENT NOTES:
06/06/17
Lying in back of kennel with a low body and ears tilted, head resting on floor. Tolerates petting along head and body while flattening ears and backing away. Turns head to watch my hand pass along her back. Needs more time to adjust.
06/07/17
Sitting crouched in center of kennel, alert with ears forward. She stands up with tail raised when I open the door and comes forward to head-butt my hand in greeting. Allows petting along head and body, raising tail. Remains relaxed for duration of session – really warmed up since yesterday! Looks like she may be pregnant.
06/08/17
Lying down beside her litter box, perks up when I approach the kennel. Leans forward to investigate. She inches forward then gently rubs her cheeks up against the kennel door. She backed away and lip licked when the door opened. Opens up once you start petting her. Her tail quivers and she leans in for petting and rubs. She guides my hand to where she wants to be pet. Social and friendly, doing great!
