07/18/16 15:04 Basic Information: Princess is a domestic short hair cat that was surrendered with her house/litter mate Nutmeg due to her previous owner having too many pets. Socialization: Around strangers Princess is friendly, outgoing and plays gently and exuberantly with adults. Princess has lived with children ages infant to 7 years old, around them Princess is affectionate, relaxed and plays gently with them. Princess has lived with several other cats, around them Princess was relaxed and affectionate. Princess has never lived with dogs so it is unknown how she will react to those events. Behavior: Princess has never bitten another person or animal. Princess has no behavior issues and has never been in a car. Princess is afraid when someone gives her a bath, or trims her nails. Princess enjoys being brushed, picked up/held, placed in a carrier, and doesn’t mind being disturbed while she is resting/sleeping. For a New family to know: Princess is described as: friendly, affectionate, playful, shy, talkative and quiet with a medium activity level. Princess likes to stay in her favorite spot and doesn’t play with toys. Princess was kept indoors only and was fed dry food twice a day. Princess is litter box trained and used an uncovered, litter box with clumping litter. Intake behavior: Princess allowed staff to collar, scan for a microchip and take pictures with no signs of aggression.

Princess’s previous owner reports she is friendly and outgoing around strangers. She has lived with children and was relaxed and affectionate with them. She plays gently with adults and children, but is exuberant when playing with adults. He has lived with several other cats and is relaxed and affectionate with them. She enjoys being brushed, picked up and held, and doesn’t mind being place in a carrier or disturbed while sleeping. She was best described as friendly, affectionate, playful, shy, talkative, and quiet with a medium activity level. Reaction to assessor: Princess was calm and relaxed, lying down. Reaction when softly spoken to: Princess chirps, stretches, and rolls over. Reaction to cage door opening: Princess remains soft and relaxed and greets the assessor by the opening. Reaction to touch: Princess head-butts lightly, begins to purr, and leans in for petting. Reaction to pick up: Princess remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Princess interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. She has no known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
