08/02/16 13:32 BASIC INFORMATION Princes is female a brown tabby that is 7 years old. The owner had Princes since she was a kitten. The owner is surrendering Princes due to a personal problem. Princes have no known illness. SOCIALIZATION Princes have never lived with small children or teenagers. Around strangers she is shy for a few minutes and slowly warms up. She slowly approaches to solicit attention. Princes has lived with two adults in the house she is playful and loving. She has never lived with cat or dogs. BEHAVIOR Princes has never had a bath, had her nails trimmed, had her coat brushed and never been in a carrier. She always uses her hooded litter box. She has never had a bite or scratch history. She is an indoor cat only. She always use her scratching post made out of carpet and smooth wood. Sometimes she uses the carpet to groom her nails. FOR NEW FAMILIES TO KNOW Princes is described as mellow, affectionate and sometime playful. Her favorite toys are balls and strings. She chase the around the house and plays for hours. She enjoys looking out the window but mostly sleeps. She meows when she is hungry. Her favorite cat food is Friskies dry or wet. Sometimes Princes sleep on her owner’s bed or in the corner of the room. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE During intake Princes was mellow. She was shy coming out of her small cat crate. But she allowed to be taken out and picked up. She allowed being collard, scanned and photographed.

As per previous owners, Princes have never lived with small children or teenagers. Around strangers she is shy for a few minutes and slowly warms up. She slowly approaches to solicit attention. Princes has lived with two adults in the house she is playful and loving. She has never lived with cat or dogs. Reaction to assessor: Princes does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Princes does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: Princes remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Princes allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Princes is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average Princes was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying calm behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting . Princes is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
