*** SAFE 07/02/2017*** Prince and Munchy are 2 of the sweetest kitties! They were brought in with other cat and have been exposed to ringworm (they may or may not have ringworm). Their owner brought them to us because there were too many cats in the home. Both cats are super affectionate and need placement ASAP. Woods lamp test is negative however, we are treating them as ringworm suspects due to exposure.

06/23/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/23/17 20:26 Basic Infornation: This cat came in with his sibling. They are both 2yrs old and have been kept in the same home since they were kittens. Unfortunately due to personal problems they could not be kept. No information on any injuries or health probles and they have never been taken to the vet. Socialization: Both cats are known to be shy for a few minutes but will become friedly/outgoing when they are more comfortable. They have never been socialized with kids or dogs. They play gentle but will get somewhat rough when they’re playing too much. They are relaxed around other cats and will occasionally rough play. No history of ever biting another animal or person. Behavior: Prince is known to meow a lot when he wants your attention while Munchy will only meow when he wants to let you know that he is hungry. They both have had litter box accidents about 1-2x a week when the litter box is very dirty. When they are scared they will hide in fear and they will occasionally get into a few fights with eachother or the other cats. During the car ride they meowed a lot but eventually just fell asleep. They have never had a bath or have gotten their nails trimmened, are unbothered when being brushed, put in a crate or being woken up when asleep or resting and enjoy being picked jup and held. For a New Family to Know: These cats are described as friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, confident, independent, fearful at times and talkative. Prince however is known to be more shy than Munchy. They have a high activity level, Munchy knows how to open doors and can turn the light switches on or off and they love to eat and sleep. They enjoy following you around when you’re home, they like playing with balls, strings and catnip toys, have been kept indoors only and can sleep just about anywhere. They eat both wet food and dry food mixed together at loeast 3x a day, are considered litter box trained, prefer a hooded litter box with litter made of crystals and do not have an interest for scratching posts. Intake: Upon intake they allowed all handling, being collared, having their pcture taken and being placed in a crate.
