***SAFE 05/17/16***PURRFECT PRINCE SUPER SWEET CREAMSICLE READY TO BE KING OF YOUR CASTLE !!! A volunteer writes, “Prince has a regal bearing, a big cream tabby who sits in the back of his kennel, calm and stately-looking, as if he is waiting for his ministers to come forth with their reports on the well being of all the kitties in the kingdom! Okay, so I exaggerate slightly. But Prince is definitely a reserved cat, perhaps a bit perplexed to find himself in a shelter kennel. He remains totally neutral in affect, and although he will let you pet him, he doesn’t really lean into it, nor does he purr for your affection. I think that Prince needs a very understanding and patient person to adopt him and give him the time and space to get used to new sights, sounds and surroundings. Another volunteer writes: Update! News Flash: Handsome Prince comes out of his shell! Although it was reported several days ago that Prince the cream-colored tabby boy was quite reserved in his kennel, we happily report today that he has decided to show us what he’s made of! Today Prince was sitting at the front door, waiting for passers-by, and when anyone showed their face, he stuck out his paw and pulled them over. And then Prince puts his big head down for you to scratch behind his ears, while he purrs and meows! He’s announcing that he’s ready and raring to go to a new forever home.” This handsome, fab feline is five years old and yet another super sweet precious pet surrendered due to their former family moving to a place that doesn’t permit pets. Prince is used to living with kids and other cats. He is described as super friendly, playful and just an all around great guy. He’s caught the kitty cold but despite an excellent prognosis, he finds himself on tonight’s at risk list. Can you help write a happy ending to his sad tale by offering to foster or adopt? This is a typical creamsicle boy–super affectionate and all around easy peasy. You can reserve purrfect Prince online or contact a New Hope rescue to arrange transportation & delivery of this darling directly to your doorstep.
