Medical Summary History Owner surrender, came in with 1 other cat Subjective Slightly tense, allowed all handling Objective BCS 6/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: OS very large mature cataract. No ocular discharge OU. Clean nose, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Moderate tartar and gingivitis. PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Tense, no masses palpated U/G: Male neutered MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment 1. Mature cataract – R/O heritable (other cat in household has congenital deformities) vs. traumatic vs. other 2. Dental disease Plan 1. CBC/chemistry and FeLV/FIV test 2.
