I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 06/28/2017 from NY 11416, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

06/28/17 20:14 Pluto is a white and brown tabby that is possible 1 year old. Pluto appeared to have been abandon by its previous owners. Finder noticed that the cat was alone in the apartment and brought the cat to ACC. Finder stated that the cat was friendly and relaxed. During intake Pluto allowed all handling. The cat allowed being collard, scanned and photographed.

KNOWN HISTORY: Pluto was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Calm, allows exam ENRICHMENT NOTES: 06/29/17 Looking around, alert. Peers out when door opens and accepts petting, arching back and leaning in for cheek rubs. Continues to look around, curious and unsure of environment, but is very sweet. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Pluto is alert and looks around the cage with wide eyes. Reaction when softly spoken to: Pluto sniffs the assessor then gently rubs her body up against the cage furnishings. Reaction to cage door opening: Pluto lip licks and steps back. Reaction to touch: Pluto leans forward and accepts petting on her head and along her body. She appreciates attention, gives soft head butts and is curious of her surroundings. Reaction to being picked up: Pluto was a bit tense when picked up, but he remained calm and allowed all handling. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Curious, Sweet, Affectionate BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Average Pluto interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
