SAFE 2/4/18 Can you resist this Kittens Face?? Meet PJ @ the Brooklyn ACC. PJ came in as a stray and was hypothermic. It appears to have resolved and he is doing better, however we would still like to place him where he can fully recover. He is negative for Felv/FIV.

Presented hypothermic, possible CH
S/O: BARH. Attention seeking, allows all handling, purring throughout exam. No interest in food. Clean cage
EENT: Pink mm, teeth erupting normally, mild conjunctivitis OU, no ocular or nasal discharge, ears WNL
HL: No sneezing, normal thoracic auscultation but difficult to hear clear heart sounds due to purring
ABD: Soft, non tender
INTEG: Full healthy coat except for minor irritation/alopecia at perianal and scrotal region
MS: Ambulatory x 4, no apparent lameness
UG: Male
NEURO: Mentally appropriate
A: Hypothermia resolved, no signs of neurologic defecits
Mild conjunctivitis
P: OK to remove IVC. Continue to monitor while at BACC. Rec erythromycin OU q12 x 5 days. Keep in medical one more day to monitor, recheck tomorrow. Excellent prognosis
