She is relaxed in car rides. there is no litterbox issues. Owner has never tried giving a bath, trimming of nails, brushing of coat. She isnt othered with picking up but after some time she will try to bite. for the new family to know Owner described her as assertive, shy, fearful, and talkative with a medium activity level. When owner is home, she rarely seeks attention. she plays with paper balls and was kept indoors only. She eats both wet and dry food wellness. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Somewhat chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Curious, Independent KNOWN HISTORY: Lived Indoors Previously lived with: an adult Behavior toward strangers: shy Bite or Scratch history: none Litter box training: yes Other notes: described her as assertive, shy, fearful, and talkative with a medium activity level. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 6/28/17- Observed Behavior – tense, slightly unsocialized but allows handling ENRICHMENT NOTES: 6/28/17- Resting in litter box, looking around. Wide-eyed, soft posture. Yawned and came to the front when door opened. Leaned and arched into pets. Briefly explored cage, then returned to litter box, sat down, started grooming. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Pinky remains neutral, soliciting attention during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Pinky remains soft body, standing by the front with tail up, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Pinky began to head bunts the assessor’s hand, purrs, and appreciates the petting. However, she seems to be conflicted, while the interaction was done she randomly hissed and attempted to paw at the hand, but proceeded to solicit. After she went into her cubby to lay down. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Pinky may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
