***SAFE 10/03/17*** ANOTHER CHANCE FOR PRETTY PEPPERMINT AFTER HER ADOPTION FELL THROUGH! Peppermint is a shy lady who’s very stressed at the Brooklyn Care Center and would love to find a relaxing, loving home as soon as possible. She has begun hissing and swatting when she’s startled or stressed, although with gentle coaxing, slow movements, and respecting her need for space she still offers head-butts and accepts petting. We’d love to see this sweetie leave the shelter environment ASAP so she can go to a calmer, more stable home environment. She would be happiest in an experienced kitty home where she can explore and adjust at her own pace. PEPPERMINT DESERVES A HAPPILY EVER AFTER – RESERVE HER BY NOON!
