***SAFE 07/09/17***GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING! A volunteer writes for Penny: My name is Penny, and I’m a 10 year old gentleman. Like fine wine, I have to say that I only get better with age. Also, you are only as old as you feel, and let me tell you something–I feel pretty great about life! I’m a friendly, social guy who enjoys playing with toys on strings. If you have a toy, and you tied it to a string, I’m there! I like being picked up and brushed, and I don’t mind having my nails trimmed. I love spending time with my human friends. Holy cow, they are the best! I love to give head butts and get head rubs. I get so happy I start meowing and purring and rolling around in pure joy. If you’re looking for a mature guy with lots of love to give, then come on down and meet me! Another volunteer writes: Who’s that waving his paw from across the room? It’s Penny – the cat who’ll literally turn somersaults to get your attention. Take Penny home and he’s going to have a ball exploring his new surroundings and getting to know everyone who lives there. He loves people, and I bet he’ll be happy to play, to hang out on the couch with you, or to relax and be petted. He seems quick to get attached to new friends, and I can imagine him following you around, wanting to find out all about his new home and new family. And, while he might be 10 years old, this cat has the spirit and playfulness of a kitten. If you’re looking for a cat who’ll keep you company and show you some love, Penny is the guy for you.
